Jim Russell’s journey began in the late 1940s in Watertown, Massachusetts, and has taken him across the globe and through a lifetime of service, leadership, and innovation. A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Jim served eight years as a crew chief on F-4 aircraft, playing a critical role in high-stakes missions during a pivotal time in U.S. history.

In 1968, he was deployed to South Korea to support the recovery efforts of the USS Pueblo, a U.S. Navy intelligence ship captured by North Korea. While the crew was released just before Christmas of that year, the ship remains in North Korea to this day—making it the second oldest ship still commissioned in the Navy.

Now based in Florida, Jim continues to apply his strategic mindset and leadership as the Chief Visionary Officer of the Jim Russell Group. With decades of experience, he serves as a trusted Automotive Dealer Consultant, helping businesses grow with insight, integrity, and forward-thinking solutions.
